TIGUKASS * consists of two artists- mother and daughter May and Ursula Aavasalu.
We create CERAMICS and ILLUSTRATIONS with a slight gothic- steampunk feel, that mixes cute with dark and playful with strange. We work mostly work with clay and digital illustration, but have sometimes ended up doing completely unexpected things – from a mural or a marzipan mold to a model castle or even a life -size floating polar bear.
We have participated on EXHIBITIONS together and separately with ceramics, dolls and drawings. Usual places are galleries, museums and libraries, but we are ok with other cool places as well. We have participated in Haapsalu Art Club for many decades.
